Diversity & Inclusion Recruitment

Americas Diversity Recruiting Platform

The annual intake of interns, graduates, and experienced hires provides an outstanding opportunity to broaden the range of cultures and backgrounds contributing to the continued success Barclays Capital. A true meritocracy, we will never lower the bar on quality, but we are always eager to widen the scope of our search for excellence. Our rapid growth has been built on ideas and innovation, and our future expansion will continue to be driven by the creativity of our people working closely with our clients. Retaining the best, most interesting people is central to this plan.

Diversity campus recruiting assists in this effort by identifying demographics that are least represented in our applicant pool across all businesses, and develops workshops and programs to increase awareness of – and educate about – various career paths in financial services. Specifically, our initiatives target candidates who are Black, Hispanic/Latino, LGBT, Native Americans, students with disabilities and veterans.

In order to ensure that we maximize opportunities to attract undergraduate and MBA talent to the firm, we:

  • Source candidates from all majors and disciplines so that we can provide diverse perspectives and solutions to our clients
  • Sponsor and support a variety of diversity and student organizations to broaden the scope of our candidate pool
  • Develop tailored internal and external programming which highlights skills and competencies necessary for candidates to be successful in the recruiting process and industry
  • Collaborate with Diversity & Inclusion to emphasize the importance, strength, and support of our Employee Network Groups

If you have any questions, please email diversitycampusrecruiting@barcap.com.
